The Full Story

Wolves Youth Development Center is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Eagle Butte, SD, within the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. Founded on August 7, 2017, we are dedicated to uplifting Lakota youth through mentorship, cultural enrichment, and community support.

Our primary focus is operating a boxing club, providing a safe and structured environment that teaches discipline, resilience, and confidence. Beyond boxing, we host cultural events and initiatives that reconnect our youth with their Lakota heritage, fostering a strong sense of identity and belonging.

Life on the reservation presents unique challenges, especially for young people. At Wolves Youth Development Center, we strive to create opportunities that empower and inspire, ensuring that every child knows they are seen, valued, and capable of achieving a bright future.
